This piece does what it says on the label. This was a year long visual exploration tapping into notions of controlled lack of control promoted by apps such as Instagram. In this piece, I contrasted the desire for the analogical look extrapolated through digital technology and how its exacerbation results in 'digital deterioration' or the potential discovery of new aesthetics.
